Kasay,John PK CAR $1.00
Eagles,Philadelpha DF/ST PHI $1.00
This team does not look like a good bet to repeat as champions. I noticed at the end of the auction that I only had one quarterback and way too many running backs. Was not my intention. I usually want two QBs and five RBs. I'll release one of the RBs and pick up a QB after the season starts. Not sure where my mind was yesterday. I paid $15 for Willie Parker last week in my other league. I let someone else have him for $7 yesterday at a time when I still needed running backs. No one went for Michael Vick. How the rest of the auction shook out.
10 days until football season ...
Quote of the Day
It's August, it's football, and the Saints look tremendous. I'm dreaming, so shut up because I'm not listening.

Quote from said blog: "Brett Favre - The QB who is probably the most overvalued this year. He doesn't have the receivers in Minnesota, they will run the ball more than any offense he's played in, and he's just not that good anymore. He's being drafted right in the middle of the QB2s while he is barely a QB2 in my mind."
Not sure I agree with him but perhaps my actions speak louder than my words. I didn't bid on him in either league. -Rob
