This wasn't as totally an unexpected sight as you would normally think. I've seen him before. Not sure if he was guarding the bank or just wanted to be first in line for the free toaster. I know what you're thinking. CrabAppleLane must be further out in the country than you thought. Well, no, we're only about AS far out as you think. The bank is on a main thoroughfare in Covington. Mr Cogburn is undoubtedly an escapee from one of the residential backyards behind the bank.

Right there at the bank. He had a couple of hens with him the last time i saw him.

I don't thunk he's interested in any mischief, Patsy. I think he just likes a change of scenery once in a while. I wonder if his owner even knows he gets out.
