Sunshine Cleaning - CrabAppleLane Sunday

We'd been wanting to see Sunshine Cleaning since we saw the trailer on HDNet's Nothing But Trailers. The scene depicted in the image is hysterical. Amy Adams (35) doesn't look old enough, to me, to be Emily Blunt's (26) older sister and she certainly doesn't look old enough to be Steve Zahn's (41) high school sweetheart. She pulls it off by being more grown up around her sister and more vulnerable around her lover. Amy Adams has "superstar" written all over her. I've seen her in 4 or 5 things now and she is excellent in all of them. Emily Blunt is also a star in the making. The movie meanders a bit too much for my tastes but I just loved those two sister characters. Those two women made the film worth watching.

Starting today, the Saints take on the State of New York's football teams. They're in Buffalo to take on the Bills today, have the Jets in the SuperDome next week, and then the Giants in the SuperDome after their Week 5 bye. The Jets and Giants both play in New Jersey and the Bills want to play in Toronto but that's a story for another day. Not sure why the NFL decided to play this game at 3PM local time instead of the usual noon kickoff. I prefer noon. The formula is so basic that it's boring. It is this:

I offer a few from the CrabAppleLane garden. In the second image, you can see my little friend to the lower right. They smear the windows at night with their little fat suction cup bellies but the trade-off is worth it. Looks like he's bagged his share of mosquitoes.
