As if New Orleans needs nice weather for a parade or a reason to celebrate, they have both today. Kinda wish I could go.
About Saints kickers: The Saints traded up to get Thomas Morstead in this year's draft. Count me in the number that thought it was silly. Also add me to the number that was wrong. He's been phenomenal all year. He executed the onside kick to start the second half that shocked the Colts and the rest of the football world. Garrett Hartley, the Saints placekicker is in his second season. Kicking duties for the Saints are in good hands for quite a few years to come.
You would expect the winners of the Super Bowl to get a warmer reception than the losers and they did but I cannot get over how many people showed up to greet the Indianapolis Colts. Indianapolis is probably not as passionate about anything as New Orleans is about the Saints but a turnout of 11 is pitiful if you ask me.

Quote from said blog: "Based on New Orleans performance against Minnesota, I see no chance that they will beat The Colts."

Wow. The Colts deserved to come home to a better reception than that. I wonder if there's more to the story.
I'm sure weather played a role, Dave, but I think disappointment was the main factor. Too bad. It may not have been the best ending for them but the season wasn't a total disaster. They should have shown more support. They've got a good group there.
Yeah, I think weather had to have played a role in that. I think more than 11 people from New Orleans would have showed up for the Colts if the Colts had shown up somewhere in New Orleans. I think there would have been plenty of "Y'all did good, now have a drink," going on.
11 is pitiful.
