Finally saw a hummingbird here yesterday. It's a treat every year to spot their return. So far, I've only seen the one. He was a male Ruby-Throated Hummingbird. He was treated to fresh CrabAppleLane nectar in addition to lovely Bradford Pear and Eastern Redbud blooms.

About today's QOTD: Pot meet kettle. There was no groundswell of fan support for changing overtime rules. The movement was created and driven by a few loudmouth, whining sportswriters, who should also "shut up and deal". I'm pretty well done with this now. Readers rejoice.
Quote of the Day
Re Sean Payton: he needs to shut up and deal. The sport exists for the fans, not the coaches' convenience.

Blog of the day is here.
Quote from said blog: "I now think that the trills were from New Jersey Chorus Frogs."

If the hummingbirds are back then all is right with the world.
Geez, how many iTunes songs do you have?
I miss those little birds when they're not here, Dave.
As for the iTunes library, I don't remember but it was in the neighborhood of 6-7 days worth, I think. I could probably add a day or two if I add Patsy's twangy country CDs. She can do that when I'm gone.
iTunes was playing when Bit Defender did its thing. Lost iTunes completely and the clean Windows install overwrote the full library folder with a blank folder. I have all of the songs on CD except for one, which I had downloaded but never transferred to a CD.
Some day, when providence shines on me, I'll invest in an external hard drive for backups. That's not to say I'll be diligent about my backup routine. That's asking for trouble. :)
Where are you going?
I was telling Dave that Patsy can put her twangy country stuff in my music library when I'm gone (As in dead). :)
