We got a late start and made too many stops today. The end result was we had to deal with a lot more traffic in and around the French Quarter, much bigger crowds, and full parking lots near the action. We ended up parking a lot further away than we wanted and we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked. It was cheaper to park miles away, though, so there's that. Gorgeous day. We set up our chairs under a shade tree at the Louis-Louis Pavilion, had some great food, and had a good old time. Love that festival.
