Silly across the board. The idea is silly because the domain, as proposed, will not replace the current community of p-0-r-n websites, which is their current selling point. It will simply be a new resource for them. All of the opposition's time and resources should be devoted to developing technology to keep anyone from running across it on the web accidentally. Those looking for it are going to find it and if they're an adult, that's their business.
I thought it was Americans who had their priorities screwed up regarding their sports. In France, their President is looking into their World Cup team's poor showing. The article describes the French reaction to their team coming home and the whole thing is more than a little disturbing. A taste from the AP via ESPN:
