A needed and welcome lift for those working on the oil cleanup in the Gulf of Mexico. ESPN's decision to analyze the impact on the Saints and the upcoming season was in poor taste. It wasn't about that. The right thing to do was to take it at face value and leave it at that. A visit by the team brings a lift to those involved and maybe some awareness to the effort. That's what it was about. There is no additional support to be gained. They've got all of it. There is positive PR to be sure but I'm here to tell you the Saints don't need any positive PR in Louisiana. They're a hundred feet tall and have positive PR up to their eyeballs in Louisiana right now.

Exactly. We only hear about the handful of bad apples in the NFL during the offseason. The vast, overwhelming majority of NFL players are genuinely good guys.
