As I blog, the water well people are out trying to figure out why we have no water this morning. I reset the breaker a few times and tapped on the electrical junction box at the well a few times. That's pretty much the extent of my ability in this area. Before lightning struck and we had to drill a new well, there was a capacitor I could have replaced. I had a spare for the old pump. The new one doesn't use one. Update: An hour and $149.95 later, we have water. It was the junction box that I tapped on. It had some corrosion so they replaced it.
About today's QOTD: There must be more there than what was reported. One line in the piece says:
Lower Swatara Township police say Herneisey forged papers saying she needed weeks of chemotherapy and would be unable to teach.
Weeks, not years. Another line thrown in by me for fun says:
Her attorney, Terry McGowan, says Herneisey is battling depression.
Hope he had THOSE papers notarized. :)

Police in central Pennsylvania say a middle school teacher lied for years about having an inoperable brain tumor.

Blog of the day is here.
Quote from said blog: "And here’s the real reason for those shocking numbers: Most people think geography is boring! Most people think maps are boring! When we push maps on people when we want them to take action for conservation, we are actually stepping on our own feet because we are boring them."

Glad your water works again. Was that junction box new?
I'm with that QOTD guy. I love maps. But I've always been an odd bird.
It was three years old, which I consider still new. You're not an odd bird at all.
