Not that I necessarily think the "customer is always right" but Slater could have and should have handled the whole thing better. Rest assured that people who are too comfortable with their upper hand, like Slater's customer/client was, get what they want much less than they think they do.
I didn't think much of Ted Stevens as a senator but I'm surely sad to see him go out like that. R.I.P., Senator.
Don't count on my vote, Newt. I doubt I've ever read a story about him that made him look like anything but an a$$.
I guess I'll have to see this with sound to know what to make of it. Whenever I go to a game with my wife or a child, I always sit closest to the batter. If a ball is hit in our direction, I may not be able to make the play but I'd like to think I'd at least block it. I would never bail.

I don't understand Newt's appeal. Assuming he has any. He keeps turning up but, like you, I've never heard anything about him that makes him sound good.
I don't think Newt has a chance and I'm not getting all of the adulation for Slater.
I agree on the never bail thing. That's just not done and so the handwriting is on the wall for poor Bo. I suspect it's only a matter of time before Sarah realizes that he has out-kicked his coverage.
I doubt even Newt thinks he has a chance, which kind of makes me wonder why he's building a campaign war chest.
