I went to four garden centers seeking out Brussels sprouts plants or seeds yesterday. There are none to be found. I put down 18 plants two weeks ago. I watered those plants only. I had lots of room left and wanted to plant more so I didn't want to water the whole garden. I would have sprinkled the whole garden until it was thoroughly soaked. The next day was hot and dry. Since the ground hadn't been saturated, all but one or two of the plants shriveled up and died. I haven't been able to replace them because no one has any more. The search continues today as soon as I push away from the computer.
Today's QOTD is about the NFL's NFC West division.
The video below was inspired by a post from The Great White Shank a few days ago. Enya and a few others do a version of this song. To me, this is a song that is better when it's bigger. The bigger the orchestra and the bigger the chorus, the better it sounds. Enjoy.

Quote of the Day
The division winner should get a participation trophy and a free Italian ice coupon instead of a playoff berth.

Brussel sprouts...definitely an acquired taste! Good luck with your search, I had a similar one for rhubarb a couple of weeks ago.
We've acquired the taste for sprouts. Rhubarb ... not so much. :)
