Happy Father's Day

Dad
I offer a couple of images from last night's outing in Covington. We love old Covington.

And three more from this morning: The squirrel is doing complex mathematical formulas in his head while eating what the birds are dropping for him. He will figure out how to get on the new feeder before long. He hasn't failed in that endeavor yet.

Speaking of fathers on this Father's Day: When this guy heard his daughter screaming, I'm sure his adrenalin red-lined. When he saw why she was screaming, I'm sure his rage red-lined, too. By all means, fully investigate his story. If nothing is found to dispute it, though, no charges should be brought. If there is father or daughter on the jury, there would be no chance of conviction.
My iPhone's auto-correct feature turned "dealership" into "fleshpot". Is that cool or what?
About today's QOTD: Buying a PSL (Personal Seat License) is definitely a bigger ripoff than buying stock in the Packers but only by a matter of degree.

Quote of the Day
And so the folks in the Bay Area who will be paying anywhere from $2,000 to $80,000 per chair for the privilege/obligation of thereafter buying season tickets every year should understand that, unlike the folks who purchased stock* from the Packers, the PSL represents an ass-in-seat asset that may appreciate or diminish based on whether and to what extent the 49ers flourish or fail in the future.

Blog of the day is here.
Quote from said blog: "While this Father's Day is not my first as a father, for the first time I really thought about Father's Day. I think it is because for the first time on Father's Day, my own father is no longer around. Sure there are signs all-around of his presence and the memories, but it is just not the same, and never will be again."

That pork chop sure looks good.
We did Father's Day at my little brother's house and he has a bird feeder with a baffle just like that. He's had it since spring and the squirrels haven't found a solution yet. After that much time I don't think they will.
The first one had a fantastic filet on it. That, alone, made it a great choice. The second one wasn't quite as good. It was only great. There was none to take home. :)
That's good to hear about the feeder. Thanks.
