Watched Prometheus last night after the LSU game. Great director, stellar cast, big budget, sci-fi flick? Sounds like great CME for a Saturday night, doesn't it? Unfortunately, not really. Worth seeing because it is so well done but don't expect much out of the story. It is very familiar and that part of it disappointed me. I expected it to be new and different. That's on me, though. Prometheus is basically an updated version of Alien ... in more ways than one. Unfortunately, for me, I always liked the James Cameron Aliens better than Ridley Scott's Alien. Scott, who directed Alien and Prometheus, obviously has his own ideas. See QOTD for a goofy line in the script. 36 hours? I suppose it sounded good in someone's head.
All four baseball playoff series went to a deciding fifth game. MLB has to be happy about that. Love the Cards comeback. They are easily the most resilient team I have ever seen in professional sports. No matter how bad it's going for them, they just keep playing. Sad for the Orioles, though. I was rooting for them.

Quote from said blog: "Cashman realizes he would not hear every family secret. But the desire to sell the team would be a pretty big secret to keep. And Cashman believes that George Steinbrenner’s children – Hal, Hank, Jennifer and Jessica – want to retain the team, not just for themselves, but for generations to come."
