BOTD - Blog of the Day

The Blog of the Day became a regular feature here on April 23, 2003. Blogs were still fairly new then and I liked showcasing what people were doing with them. There is no rhyme or reason for a BOTD selection. Could be the place made me laugh, made me think, made me angry, or just touched me somehow. It could have also been selected for the innovative things they're doing with a blog. I am particularly fond of photoblogs. By the way, Meryl Yourish, the first ever BOTD here, is still going strong as of today (Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2009) and her statement about chain letters is still as relevant as it was then.
