5 song iTune shuffle

The 5 song iTune shuffle is a feature added to the CrabAppleLane Blog on November 8, 2009. It is achieved by opening my iTunes program in shuffle mode and pressing the play button. The first five that come up are the ones listed. I just copy and paste the line from iTunes and delete the genre iTunes assigns because it's not all that accurate. It is a certainty that there will be strange mixtures. Almost all of the CDs in the house have been included in my library. My wife, Patsy, has a few $1 Christmas CDs that are not included and probably never will be. Doing this provides me with an entry or a quote of the day sometimes as well.

Update: December 28, 2009 - Some days, I choose the first song because I want to make sure it's included for one reason or another and, then, I let iTunes shuffle from there.

Update: May 12, 2010 - Some days, I'll skip the next selection in favor of a subsequent random selection that fits better into a theme that may have struck me that day. Some days, I'll choose selections from a specified random list (All women, all rock, all five star, all bands that begin with the letter W, etc)
