QOTD - Quote of the Day

The Quote of the Day became a regular feature here on February 17, 2005. It was the idea I was tinkering with that I alluded to in that entry. I don't always agree with Quote of the Day. In fact, quite often, I do not. It is also quite often out of context but it is linked so that the readers can go read it for themselves. Context is important to me but I find some statements so particularly outrageous that I can't imagine a context that would justify it. That's why I always try to link because I might have simply missed it. Sometimes, I run across them days or weeks before they're posted but they're mostly stumbled across the same day they're posted. They can be from just about anywhere and I post them because I find them funny, profound, outrageous, timely, or relevant to what I'm thinking that day. Or not.
