First, Happy Birthday, Kevin!!!
This is Kevin Erickson's brand new blog located on his brand new website. At Katie's request, I helped with the installation and will also help with the maintenance for a time until Kevin feels he's ready to take over sole responsibility for it.
A blog is a "web log". They're everywhere on the internet. Where this one goes is up to Kevin and friends. It is a place for announcements, a place to express yourself, a place to post pictures, a place to do pretty much anything. The theme of the blog and the content of the website are at the sole discretion of the owner of the website.

I've also installed MT-Blacklist, which will guard against "comment spam". It is a really cool program.
I am not wild about this comment field. Kevin and I will have to work on that when we get together.

Happy forty ninth..geez it seems like just yesterday I was sitting on your van bench in front of the apartment on Fairfield, early in the morning, waiting for you to wake up so I could smoke some of your cigarettes...and look at us now. You an old man and me, still waiting for you to wake up...the difference between us now is, I'm still taller...got the tWoks pumped back up to a respectable 17.5 inches...life is good. Nice site man. I'll check in again.

49 huh? WOW! I thought you guys were hitting the big 50 by now! Almost home. It is amazing how resilient life is. As much damage we have inflicted on our bodies and we still exist!
Trying to think back to 1979 when I met you guys on Fairfield but I am having "Shallow Water Black out". Instead I am posting a picture of you when you came to "Camp Kimble " the first time. I gave you the chance to windsurf, kayak, Mt bike, Ski,..... But you picked backpacking... Remember the 5 hour grind uphill to this spot Elk Cove on Mt Hood?
You found a King Blolete mushroom and we feasted on Oregon wild mushrooms and Salmon at 6000 ft. Kevin was so exhausted he slept in 50 mph winds that were rattling the tent like a tender slamming the med lock…..all night long. Kevin slept like a baby as I was up all night long. The joke was on me ….again. I was dragging on the way back home the next day!!
Well, I will log back on soon. Off to the duplex to fix what I have ripped out. The remodel is going………
Happy Mardi Gras too. Maybe I will do a narrative about the Titergiser Bunny. Mohawk told me I would get my butt whipped….. He said everyone hated that bunny!!! Right again Mark!
