What a great birthday gift. I was surprised that I was surprised. After all I work in one of the major communication systems. Telephone, telegraph, telladiver. I hope all my old friends will use this to check in and let everyone else know you're still sucking wind. I have to go offshore tonight and gag, choke, supervise a job on the mighty Sea Lion so you won't be hearing from me for a few days. I'll be back by the 24th as my grandkids are coming for a visit. That's right, grandkids. Faith and Keirstin. They're bringing their parents, Ryder and Nicole, with them. Also the 13th annual Divers Reunion is coming up on the 14th of March so if you gotta walk, hitch or crawl to get there it's definitely worth a swim-by. My time's up so I'm leaving bottom.

Happy Birthday, B-I-L.

Had to change this comment window. Couldn't see anything. We'll work on colors together some time in the future.

Sorry to have missed your inaugural birthday BLOG. When I pulled up the site on Sunday afternoon I wasn't surprised to see that you were departing for offshore. I was surprised to see Terry's photo though, very distinguished! I would have liked to see the sword and suit of armour to go with the excaliber business card. I'll do my best to look in on your site so I can keep up with the rest of our e-mailing community. Until next time - "eye of the tuna".

Kevin,
I apologize for not sending my Happy Birthday on time but it took me a while to figure this BLOG thing out. Great idea, Katie. All your friends at Stolt send their greetings. Please remember that if you ever decide on the leg transplants I will be there for you. Give me a call when you have a free moment.

Kevin,
Happy Lundi Gras!! What a great day for a birthday last week, but I will always be younger, smarter, thinner and a better speler. Looking forward to the reunion next month, I havn't been able to drink my quota of alcohol this Mardi Gras season with all those parades getting in the way and Tony's put me to work rewiring his Bar. Well as long as the Fire Marshal has a sense of humor and an open palm things should be fine. Ray W

What a great birthday present!
Matt was peeking over my shoulder, wondering what I was doing so I explained the blog thing to him. "That's an odd present" he said.
"Not really" I said, then went on to explain just how many friends and acquaintences a 'well seasoned' diver such as your self accumulates over the years and that this is an excellent way to keep in communication with them all.
His response with a smile...
"The life of a diver, huh babe?"
Well, it's better than writing on a block of wood...the life of a carpenter...
