Welcome back, brother-in-law. Where was this picture taken? That's some blue water.

This was off the coast of Israel. They had Israeli Commandoes on board for security. Part of the pipeline they were laying actually went through an area with a lot of unexploded ordinance. Gives a new twist to explosive decompression.

Old dogs need not learn new tricks but if they do, they're still old dogs...thanks for the post...write me if you want to hear how I dove on a live mortar round and saved the entire barge crew..(hint>>it was a dud) You may also be interested in hearing about the 3000 year old roman anchor we managed to recover...had to take it away from the tenders, who were busy carving their initials in it...the israeli antiquities people were at once stunned and angered but allowed us to continue living, as long as we stayed out of israel proper...which wasn't difficult...

so thanks to all for yet another fifteen minutes of fame...although, this post may run serious inroads into my good reputation, should I ever be fortunate enough to acquire one.

dive shallow and prosper.....

augie the real deal bottoms
