You've seen them. Sneakers, laced together and dangling from power lines. Apparently, there have been long-running rumors that sneakers tied together are a gang sign. In fact there are several theories, some quite amusing, about this phenomenon that I recently read here. If you read them, you may understand why I was amused enough to pull over to take this photo on my way home from work Friday. Or not.
