My son sat at the breakfast bar this morning; he has pink eyebrows. Pink! It's temporary, I think! I hadn't had enough coffe yet for that! What makes kids do stuff like that? He spent the day with his girlfriend's (eye roll!) family, and they went to a school fair in the evening. I'm not ready for this yet!
I spent a couple of hours visiting Dad at the hospital last night. For most of the evening he was totally out of it. He became quite agitated at one point when Mom was on the phone with Robbie. She was telling Robbie that we probably didn't need to stay with him at night. I swear Dad was aware of her conversation and didn't like what he was hearing. It has given me new hope. Maybe if he wasn't so drugged he might be able to break through the fog.

Visions of things to come(pink eyebrows)???
Have any of the doctors given any thought to taking Uncle Sam off of some or all of his meds to see if that will help? Keeping him only on the really essential ones.
I'm convinced of that, too. Being drugged and bedridden has a snowball effect on his debilitation and his consciousness.
That is so funny about Lars. I am glad to have sisters that have experience with teen-agers that can advise me when the time comes.
Nancy, that really is a good idea. I would love for that to happen.
Hi! I didn't get to see Lars's eyebrows till today & they are a pretty pink!(they match his braces)I went to a hokey game(Mississippi Sea Wolves vs. Louisiana Icegators) with my friend,Lauren, on Friday and spent the night at her house after~words(the Icegators won...i was going for the Sea Wolves though). Then, Lauren & I went & hung out with 3 of our other friends, then we all went to a fundraiser at a mueseum, & then i spent the night at my friend Brittany's! So I didn't see him till today..& I only got to see him for about 30 min.'s!
I hope they find something that will help Grandpa! I really wish i could vist! (But I dont think my mom would think its a good idea)
but I'm going to go!
love always,
AMY
