We had Cream of Tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches last night. It is still my all time favorite comfort food combo. How did that ever get started? I've seen it on a Campbell's commercial but Mom was serving it to us long before I ever saw that commercial.

I agree--in fact just what I had for dinner tonight since I'm alone. John is not a fan of tomato soup (his lose I guess). Of course it has to be made with milk, not water (like one of our babysitters did when staying with us while my mom was in the hospital having another baby---She did not get good reports after that!). Grilled cheese with it is a must. Enjoy
It has to be whole milk for me, Nancy, and Campbell's Tomato Soup. I've tried several varieties of more expensive soups but I always come back to Campbell's.
That was my one of my least favorite soups ever. Blechh!!! Yuck! Phooey!!!
It is a meal that does not bring back fond memories for me either! I hate tomato soup and that is so weird because the tomato is my favorite food in the whole world, RIGHT AFTER the potato.
