In case you forgot what Samuel looks like, here are some more pictures of him. I hope I get the right pictures in this time. (In the extended entry).
We are doing fine. He’s a very sleepy baby, except from 11:30 pm- 3am. After that he sleeps until I wake him to nurse around 8 am. His apnea monitor continues to alarm, but we think some of them are false. It is nerve-wracking though. We are having fun with him. Joey is very proud that his first-ever outing was to Home Depot and then yesterday we took him to the LA Sportsman and Outdoors Show. There was a booth selling all camo baby clothes. Joey went a little crazy there. You might be seeing the outfit in his announcement if I ever get around to sending them out.
Everyone is invited to Samuel’s christening and we hope to see you all there.

St. Edward the Confessor
1:30 PM (following 12 PM mass)
There will be a reception following at my house.

Sue, do you recognize the gown Samuel is wearing in the following picture?

Those are perfect, Angela. Good job. Had fun Saturday. Glad I finally got to see him.
He sure is a cutie! Thanks for posting pictures, so all his 'northern' cousins can see him.
As soon as I looked at the picture, I recognized the gown and it wasn't until I scrolled back down to look at them all again that I saw your caption. I think Mama brought me that gown when Bunk was born. If not, it was Patrick. Still - not too shabby looking for either 12 or 17 years old. Samuel is absolutely precious and I cannot wait to kiss that baby sugar's face.
It reminds me of David. Every time I see it I think about his cute little face. I can picture him in it. Can't really remember Patrick in it.
Hey Joey your boy is gonna be a lefty..I see him holding out his trigger finger in the third picture.
It looks to me like his left finger is on the trigger guard but his right finger is pulling the trigger. He could be ambidextrous. Or a switch hitter maybe?
Both my boys wore that gown too! In the other picture of Samuel, he's in the nightgown Mama gave Jackson. I have two of them plus the matching blanket. They were in excellent condition. That's the gown and blanket both of my boys came home from the hospital in.
Samuel is so precious. I hope you don't get too disappointed if your son isn't much like you, Joey. When he cries after seeing your hunting spoils, don't berate him. He is a sensitive Pisces guy. They make lousy hunters; the gun-toting variety, that is.
