And if I have a second beer, that will be to you, Carol. I put your birthday on my calendar just now. You are so good about dropping a card in the mail on my birthday. I am not promising anything but guilt if I miss it next year. I hope you celebrated your special day with a bang. Happy belated birthday to you, and may you have many more.
Thanks for all the birthday wishes. We went to LeeAnn Chin's for dinner (I love their lemon chicken) and Dairy Queen for dessert (Mint Oreo blizzard- YUM!!). I just had a craving for those places. Ashley, Nicole, and I were s'pose to have manicures and pedicures but the place we went to was out of power because of the storm the night before. So, we'll have to reschedule. Oh, well. I've had a cold all week and only yesterday got my voice back. Now the coughing has started as it's breaking up. Yuk! Out to "coffee" with some friends to continue the celebration. Carol
Happy Birthday to Laura and Carol! I hope they are/were happy. Scott and the children order movies through Netflix. Tonight Scott started watching Sideways and I told him that I might like to see it because I remembered reading something about it on the blog. I walked out (finally) with about 30 minutes to go on it. I just couldn't sit through any more of it. I decided to look up the blog to see what people said about it. That was a horrible movie! I'll stick to my Austin Powers, Chevy Chase, Adam Sandler or Doris Day and Cary Grant genre of movies I guess.
