I will have a beer tonight in your honor. And because that's what the 4-wheelers left behind in my driveway the other night. A toast - May you live as long as you want and never want as long as you live.

Happy, happy, Laura!
Hold off on that beer until tomorrow, unless you want to celebrate my last day of 46! ;o)
Happy Birthday, Laura. I brought baby Sue home for Uncle Pat's wedding on May 10, 1958. She was three weeks old. I remember your mom and her very pretty outfit - a skirt and long, loose and flowing, blouse. Back then, and I liked the way we looked in that condition, we didn't want our form to show. Wearing a tight t-shirt that didn't meet the pants or cover the tumtum? No way. Never and never.
Anyway, I always thought it was nice for you cousins to have a mate in another family -- Beth and Nancy, Mike and Tom, Robbie and Jeff, you and Sue and Janice, Janine and Steve and P.J., Joan and Katie, Molly and David, Tim and Elizabeth. Any others?
Laura, my mother remembered your birthday wasn't until tomorrow. I am afraid I made her think her memory was off. (Sorry, Mom.) I had that beer anyway. I may have another tomorrow. The perps left three behind. I don't keep it on hand, so it is a treat to be able to have a nice, cold beer sometimes. It's to your last day of 46 then. May it be a happy and fulfilling one. Cheers.
I may be chaperoning a kids' movie night this coming Tuesday, for Aaron. He started participating in a new group of kids, some of whom knew each other in a name and face kind of way, that met up with a mother, who is a friend of mine, that organized it. Aaron, age 12 & 3/4, is coming out of the cave and joining up with kids his age. They saw "Shout" or "Scream", I can't remember; the Will Farrell movie that came out last month. There are even more of the kids that can make it this month, so that Mom wanted another adult to chaperone with her. I volunteered. They are going for pizza afterwards at a nearby Sicely's Pizza, it's a buffet. I am trying to convince them to see "Shark Boy and Lava Girl" which opens this weekend. So, I guess that R-rated movie will just have to wait. Besides, Julia wants to go see the "...Pants..." movie. I don't even know what else is playing. I just look for the G or PG and then the title. That's sad, huh?
