Happy Father's Day

That's a good card. The children and I gave Michael a Jimi Hendrix t-shirt; Jimi's image is crushed velvet - oooooh. We also gave him a can of mixed nuts, which Julia opened and then I had some so when he went for them last night he wondered who opened his can of nuts. Aaron gave him a jumbo Mr. Goodbar, which he had hidden in the fridge for days - hoping Michael wouldn't find it and eat it before the big day. We went for snowballs. This time - as opposed to the dozens I have had this season - was blue bubblegum. I ate half of Julia's too. She got the same, but with condensed milk.

Then Michael went out and got a new t.v. while I was returning the movie. He did not have my permission for that. This family has 5 t.v.'s. Aaron's was the one needing replacement because it intermittently worked. I preferred a vacation in Gulf Shores to a new t.v. I am getting that vacation anyway. I went on-line to make a reservation and decided we are just going to breeze into town when we decide on a weekend that we can go, and just find a room. My friend who is a travel agent recommended that.

We got "Princess Diaries 2" which I watched with the little people later last night. Pure fantasy. I did a bunch of "as ifs" last night.
