Robbie - I made a comment on your blog this morning, something eloquent and well-written about Bruce Springsteen and how you didn't play his music yesterday, but it told me the server wouldn't permit it and it vanished. I wonder if you'll read this one. We'll see. Thanks for yesterday. It was a good day full of good food and good company.

Patsy and I were both disappointed in the cake. I'm not much of a cake person but even I thought this one was going to be good. It was so-so. I guess I'll stick to their king cakes. Those are outstanding.

The cake did sound more promising than that, but it was still good and very pretty. I had half of Julia's. I was so full from lunch. It was a lovely day altogether.

Now, I am going for a walk to survey the damage done by Cindy. Lots of debris in my woods, including a tree down in my path. Plus, my tomatoes and a bell pepper plant got beaten up. Shoot. I am wondering about Synchronicity. I didn't sandbag the door and there are two trees in the vicinity that have seen better days. I'll let you know.
