Where were you on this day in 1969?
I was at my friend's house down the street staying up past our bed times watching it on TV. It was history on Live TV. Awesome.

I remember getting to stay up late too. What day of the week was it? Mom and Dad were very strict with bedtimes, even during the summer. I can't imagine them allowing us to stay up real late.
My fading memory thinks it was a Friday night but I don't trust it. I'll try to look it up later.
It was a Tuesday I believe it was 10 p.m.
We are both wrong, Beth. It was a Sunday night.
