More Rehearsal . . .

Angela is still here and walking me through how to post pictures. When she leaves, she will take with her my picture posting abilities! Sorry, I have short term memory loss personified!!

My dear friends (to whom I am extremely indebted) who helped me with the rehearsal dinner. I could not have done it without them. Their friendship is priceless! Pictured from left to right Peggy, Barbara, Melanie, Sue, Nanci. Melanie's husband Robbie was a huge help, too, but he was taking all the pictures so is not in many! Also not pictured are Katie and Rick. Both were a tremendous help to whom we are so grateful.

Great pics again, Sue. So glad you're getting the hang of this.

Sue,

I love you dearly but I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU PUT MY PICTURE OUT THERE!!!!!

I have one of you too, Barbara. I got the very first picture of you with my new camera ( a Kodak easyshare; 4 mp's) holding Samuel. That may have to wait until tomorrow. Thanks for helping my sister. It is always nice to see you.

Thanks also to all those helpers before, during, and after the rehearsal dinner. I felt like such a slouch for not helping. I was absolutely beat after my day in the van - getting us all there in one piece and staying pleasant too. At least, I thought I was being pleasant.

What's with the look on Katie's face?

Robbie,

I believe it was not exactly a pleasant job for Katie and Scott (notice Scott had rubber gloves)to de-bone the pig. We happen to have had only one pair of rubber gloves and Scott wasn't giving them up to Katie. Katie was a trooper to help him with that messy job - he asked me and I took one look at the pig halves; made a disgusting face and politely declined the offer. Katie, Amy and Brittany were all troopers and we couldn't of done it without them. So, even after Katie had a disgusted look on her face she continued to take the pig apart so that the guests would not have to because the original plan was to just put the pig halves out on the table and let the guests pick it apart themselves. Seeing what they went though, I personally cannot imagine and not to mention we had so much food I don't know where they would have put the pig.

Barbara

I have no idea why I'm making a face, but did you really have to put that on there???? I mean, really! I didn't mind using my hands except for parts of that pig were really hot! Ya'll had just picked it up and it was still steaming! That could explain my expression.

I was glad to help out. I am also so very impressed with your friends, they were awesome to work so hard for you like that!
