I get a debug Javascript error page that I have to "x" out of each time I go from the "Comments" section. I have been getting that for weeks now. It compounds my frustration because I am also mouse-deficient. Last week, my computer keyboard tray fell to the ground. My mouse came apart and the ball went rolling. Chip chased, then caught the ball, and promptly swallowed it at my command to "Drop it!" I have been promised people's extra mouses so I haven't broken down and bought my own during the few times I have been to Office Depot.
I suggest you click on that button on the right and "Get Firefox". Trying to track down a Java Script Error is a hit or miss proposition and a pain. Sometimes, a new installation is the ticket. I think I have it here on disk if you prefer.
I have also been getting it when I log into "The Family Blog". Just pulling up the web-page brings it on. It is just one of those things that I have gotten accustomed to working with. I also have this thing of having to close my mailboxes once before opening it a second time to check my mail.
I got a new laptop a couple of days ago. Now, I have a computer that (so far) has no glitches and quirks. Maybe I can keep it that way. Nah. I am your father's daughter. Remember all the quirks of things in the house hold? - jiggling toilet handles, lifting and pulling the door knobs, the right side only of the tape-player worked, and a bunch of other little tricks to proper functioning abounded all over the Moisant house.
Yes, I remember the little quirks. I inherited them, too. There are things here that I do not understand. Thankfully, they work most of the time. I have a doorknob that gets stuck sometimes, a door that latches sometimes but not others, and a sink that backs up into a bathtub now and again.
Strangely enough, I don't recall any of those glitches you mentioned. Now if you want to talk about jerry-rigging, the Lakeshore Drive house was a landmine. Talk about that. Talk about Grandpa. Toilet handle jiggling? Sure. Lift and pull the door knobs -- why not? Bunch of other little tricks? No, I don't think so. I love this house.
