Introducing Julia Claire and Josephine Mary.

Julia Claire: 6 lbs. 5 oz.
Josephine Mary: 7 lbs. 1 oz.
Katie sent these pictures by email and hoped Robbie would post them. Robbie doesn’t have telephone or Internet service yet, so I decided to do it for him. I know Mary will post some more pictures and details when she can.
Katie said Mary and babies are doing well. Samuel weighed 6lbs. 5 oz. and I can’t even imagine having another 7 lb. baby in there with him! I spit him out 4 weeks early as it was. Mary, you did great!

Congratulations Mary! I wish I had some good advice for you, being a twin myself but I have none. I'll let you know if I think of anything!

When I was getting ready to take Angela and Christina home, my pediatrician -- the father of twins himself -- told me not to worry if I didn't bathe each one each day. He said bathe one on Monday and the other on Tuesday and so on. He also told me it was perfectly all right to hold one to feed and the other to prop. Now this would be advice for the early days, you understand; just until you get everyone on a good schedule. We kept a bottle time for each girl on the refrigerator. They took about 1-1/2 oz. every two to three hours around the clock. We all, down to Elizabeth, age 8, learned to study the chart and then figure out why they were waa-waa: hungry, fussy, wet, bored, or hungry???
Mary, I hope you have as much fun with Julia and Josephine as we all had with Angela and Christina. And keep in mind: it just gets better and better.
