Now (November 22, 2005). After Hurricane Katrina.
The new facade came crashing down. It's in the front parking lot. Looks like it has been looted in addition to being flooded. Its not open and it looks to me like no one has started cleaning up or rebuilding. The water line is at about the four foot mark. You can't see it on this building but you can see it clearly on the houses and fences leading up to it.
