Samuel is 10 months old today. David, did you notice what he's holding in his left hand? He loves that rattle that you gave him! The other picture is from last Sunday. We went caroling in Jackson Square. It's always a fun time. They pass out candles and song sheets. Samuel loved it.
We're having our annual Christmas Bonco party tonight. It's our biggest year yet with 30 people invited. Don't know where we're all going to fit, but I know we'll have a good time. Here's a copy of my invitation for this year. I always put it to a song. Can you figure this one out?
You know blue tarps and flooding
And Food Stamps and FEMA
Stinky fridges and flies
And long lines from Katrina
But do you recall
The most famous dice game of all?
The Hunters are having Bonco
It’s on a Friday night.
And if we say to bring a dish
You would even say, “All right!”
You will have to pay to play
Call up and give your name
We’ll never let Katrina
Ruin our Bonco game
Then on the Eve of Christmas Eve
Angela will come to say
“Players, get your partners right
Let’s ring the bell and start tonight!”
Then how the dice will roll
As we all shout with glee
Bonco of Two Thousand And Five
You’ll go down in history!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer?
Loved the pictures. And I sang the whole song, start to finish. For some reason, I couldn't stop myself. An excellent job and I congratulate you.
He looks so cute by the Christmas tree! I do always see that rattle with him and the Christmas looks beautiful!
I love the invitation, Angela! My mom was about to call you this morning to have to sing it for me. I had to resort to singing it for myself though. I hope ya'll have fun!
I didn't know Julia wrote a message here. I love the pictures. SamSam is so cute. You and Joey too, Angela. Clever song. I sang it too.
Did anyone confirm the song?
Rudolph is correct. Next year I might have to have a singing contest along with the Bonco party to see who can sing all of my invitations the best.
