We went to eat breakfast with Santa this morning at Chapelle, our alma mater. This morning while getting ready I asked the boys what they were going to ask Santa for Christmas. Jacob thought about it and couldn't make up his mind so he decided he needed to bring the Christmas Wish Book with him so he could show Santa what he wants. He & Jackson circled what they want in the book, I think they left two pictures uncircled! Jackson studied the book in the car on the way there so that he would be well prepared to answer the "What do you want for Christmas" question and he finally settled on a Roboraptor. Unfortunately, the Santa was kind of a dinky Santa and didn't ask the ever important question so Jackson quietly told him anyway. I don't think Santa heard him. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Samuel did well and didn't even cry. He's such a good boy.

What precious and adorable little boys!
That is a great picture of all three boys. I bet Santa heard Jackson anyway and will get the somethingraptor. That was a good-looking Santa.
No, really, Santa didn't hear him. That's the only reason I can think of that Jackson won't get the roboraptor!
Tell Jackson not to worry. Joe will make sure to include the roboraptor thing in his Santa letter and tell him that he needs to deliver it to Jackson's house.
Cute picture. Polina is desperate to go to Breakfast with Santa, but I wasn't interested in the long lines. My poor girl. She saw the boys picture and immediately said, "I want to do that."
Next year y'all should come with us. It's fun. The cheerleaders and dance teams perform. The chorale group also performs. There's an arts and crafts section for the kids to make ornaments and other things. Samuel made his first ornament this year! It's his thumb print made into a Rudolph face.
Do y'all know how much those roboraptors cost? They're $100 and they're gigantic. At least three feet long, probably four feet. I saw it at Target on Saturday and couldn't believe how huge it was. Who has room for that?
Maybe Santa could park the roboraptor (thanks for the picture, Robbie) on the roof.
My children have lists and all of their items have big tickets. Aaron added a note to his, "I kinda chose expsnive gifts but get some at least, please." At the top of his list is a cell phone. Julia also has an extensive and expensive list. These children have a loose grip on reality.
That is sooooooo cute! I love Samuel's face.I bet ya'll were trying to get him to smile.
A long time ago, there was a very large dragon featured on commercials that ran every ten minutes or so. You held a gun that fired off ping pong balls and if you should hit the dragon, it would turn and come for you. It was an adorable commercial and greatly appealed to Robbie, who might have been three or four. So Santa delivered. And Robbie fired off the ping pong balls and with a roar, here came the dragon, directly at the child, breathing fire and ready to eat. The child was frozen in place while the parents -- dare I say this? -- were convulsed with laughter. Well, we did come to our senses before there was any kind of damage done. Physical damage. Don't know about emotional damage. Rob?
That was Zor. Best toy ever. You'd fire darts at him and he would turn to the direction where the dart came from, roar, and fire his yellow balls. I don't remember ever being afraid of it.
I should have remembered it was darts. I believe your closet door took on some holes on account of those darts being fired at it. Do you remember which Christmas that was?
Does anyone think Santa's eyes look like Uncle Sam's? When I scrolled down, it hit me instantly. But then again, I always think I see my Dad in a lot of people. Just thought it was interesting that there is a little bit of their Grandpa in Santa.
Danny has "Robosapien" that Santa did not bring last year for Christmas. We found it at K-Mart in August, sitting on a clearance display for $19.99. Danny had his own money and paid me back for it. I don't think it's been touched since September... And no, I wouldn't shell out that kind of money last Christmas either. It was cute the first day. After that it got annoying.
