I dragged him kicking and screaming and after all the complaining I had to listen to, it practically looks like it did before we got it cut. Can you just about hear him saying, "did you take it yet?" through his clenched teeth.
So, I asked Aaron if he minded that I posted that precious picture of him. It never occurred to me to ask him if I could post it. I thought I told him what it was for. Maybe I said it was for his Uncle Joe in Michigan. It took me several snaps before I got him to smile like that. After several cajoling pleas this morning, and his angry protests, I had to remove it. He is shy. Or something. I think, possibly it is because he is 13 and I have it coming because I knew how to dish it out when I was 13. I see the future and am kind of nervous about it.
You should feel vindicated, Mother. Don't laugh.

What a big boy he is! And yes, I think I might need to trim his bangs a little more this weekend when I see him.
Does Aaron read the blog, Mommie Dearest?
This is a pretty picture of your very colorful kitchen. Looks good. And Aaron looks really good too, but I might have to give Angela an assist as she does her trimming. She might not take quite enough. But as the bible tells us, this too shall pass, and I certainly can testify to that.
I like the reflections: the camaera flash in the left window and the kitchen lights in the window on the right.
Angela, I can't hold him on my lap like I used to have to do. You will have to spend the night with us and cut by the light of the Moon and nightlight.
Robbie, if I ever get something decent in a picture composition, it's by accident. I wish I were better at picture-taking. I took 11 of Franklin and Lily and Chip yesterday. None of them pleased me, though I just posted one of Frankie Baby. My animal children love our (shall I say) woods.
