I was going to write the greeting to Blog boy, but I see I already did that last year. It isn't funny. Can you get yourself a dancing cake please, Rob?

My friend, Dolores Faulkner, used to play a lot of foosball - in and around Kenner and beyond, around the same time that you were becoming king of Foos. She thinks she may know you. I tried to find a picture of you the other day, Robbie, from way back. I don't seem to have any. I took the one off the wall of our family from Father's Day 2003, but you are naturally a changed man from when you were a young adult. She has a foosball table she is trying to get rid of. If I had the room, I'd take it. Dolores claims to have been very good at it. I forget who she told me her partner is. It was a trip down memory lane pulling names of people out of my head. I remember Ralph somebody that used to live on the corner of Roosevelt and W. Metairie. That's it. Oh yeah, and the Cadis's.

Thanks Janine. I don't remember Dolores. That was Ralph Ban. Don't know Cadi's, either.
I was with Samuel last night, watching him throw things from his high chair, picking them up, watching him throw them down again and it reminded me of you in your playpen at Grandma's: Uncle Vene and Aunt Myrt were working (!) out of her living room and Grandma was your baby sitter. You would throw a toy from the playpen and then laughingly command Vene (age 70 or so) to "gi it" and he would, this gruff and crabby old man who never smiled as long as I knew him. Except at you, the little boy in the playpen. They all thought you were exceptionally smart with your toy-throwing. So I told Angela that Samuel was exceptionally smart because he knew throwing stuff off his high chair would get a reaction from me. In the short term and with a smile.
Happy Birthday Robbie. Have a great day!
Thanks Christina.
Happy Birthday Robbie. Now, here's a question for you--did we help you celebrate your birthday 22-23yrs ago when we were there for Mardi Gras? I can't remember if there was a special meal/cake(I know we went out to celebrate our anniversary). Maybe your mom remembers.
I don't think so, Nancy, unless we boiled crawfish. We've done so many of those that I don't remember many of them. Remember the last one I did last year, though. Almost added my thumb to the pot.
