I can't believe I've only been home from work for a year! It feels like an eternity. We spent our day much the same as any other day. Samuel did get to have some ice cream today and opened another present from us, but not too much fanfare. The picture of Samuel with his cake is from last Sunday at his party. He didn't really grab at the cake and eat it. He put his hands in it, but wasn't interested in eating it like that. He also got a new tooth for his birthday. That puts us up to 3 total. Not walking yet, but standing alone and taking "lunging" steps toward me.
One Year Old Today!

We didn't talk about the memorial service. It's at 10:00 -- shall I come to your house at 9:30 or would you prefer to drive yourself? I may or may not go to Mary Ann's house afterwards. I guess it depends on how many people are there and if I really feel like being in that number. I'm not sure. Janine and Elizabeth are only going to the church. Katie isn't able to take off from work.
