I just got back from a crayfish boil at Robbie's. The evening was just beautiful. Some of the people who were there ahead of us were treated to the sight of a panther looking at them from one of Robbie's trails. He has seen them once or twice since he's lived there, but was surprised that it would show itself during daylight hours while there were so many people there. He described it as similar to the Florida panther, but about half the size on account of the prey available here. Anyhow, that might explain the turkey carcass he came across while walking his trails the other day. The hen is still there, but she didn't come around while we were there tonight. I think they mate for life -- am I right, John?
