Happy birthday(weekend), sister dear. And just what does your family fix you for your special dinner? What would be your special dinner if you had to say? Mine could be a shrimp po-boys and onion rings.

Aaron and Julia spent the evening out last night. I couldn't get Michael to take me to MiMamacita's for dinner; he opted for leftovers - which I guess I am reluctantly grateful that he did. MiMamacita's has shrimp dishes special for lent which is almost over. I have two more days to try them before they take them away. Maybe tonight.

Did Grandma Ferrara ever take you shopping? I recall one time, Loretta, took us and I got you a record - "I Love You Mony, Mony, Mony."

Sue -- There is a card on the way and if it doesn't come today, I am truly sorry. It's been sitting on file cabinet, stamped and sealed and ready to go, for over a month. I wanted to get it to you on this date, April 14, just as you always get mine to me on my date, November 13. You never miss and we all talk about you for that. Well, after studying the calendar for a long time, I decided Tuesday should be the day your card needed to be mailed. I could have mailed it Monday, but decided that would probably put it there on Thursday and I didn't want that to happen. But. Tuesday came and went and although the card was on the table for me to pick up as I went out the door, I didn't do it. So Wednesday was the day and I'm pretty sure, although I hope I'm wrong, that it didn't have enough time to get there. Lord help me, I hope it's not Monday before you get it.

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes! It's nice when birthdays wind up on the weekend because the rule is you celebrate all three days. We are going to see "Deep Sea" this afternoon at Imax because we get free tickets while Bunk is working at the theater. He is quitting in three weeks so we've got to get a few movies in before then. My family will all be here on Easter so we will have a combo birthday/Easter celebration. Scott's mama is bringing a Honey Baked Ham which I love. She's also bringing fruit salad and fresh green beans. I will make potato salad, deviled eggs and sweet potato souffle. Scott made me Creme Brulee for my birthday cake. That is my favorite dessert. My friend, Lorraine gave me a kit last year with the 4 oval ramekin dishes and a culinary torch. Scott had to buy 6 more ramekin dishes so everyone would get one or maybe two for me if picky Patrick doesn't want his!
