Happy Birthday, Patrick
I am missing birthdays this year. It isn't that I don't think kindly and with affection for those celebrating their life; I do. I am just getting habitually lazy about doing anything about those good feelings. Nevertheless, the birthday boy deserves some attention.
Patrick was the third baby born in a year to us Ferrara girls. First, Elizabeth had Mary Catherine (5/27/92), then I had Aaron (10/15/92), then we excitedly awaited for Patrick to join the family, April 29th. When Elizabeth and I traveled to Georgia to meet him, he was about 8 weeks old. Sue was sititing on the floor with him, showing the other children their new cousin. 1 year old Mary Catherine hit him and I could hear Sue saying, "Oh no baby, be gentle." I felt relieved that Aaron was too young still to hurt the baby when Sue told me, "oh yeah, he got his licks in too," before she picked Patrick up for safety. They were just loving on their cousin. And maybe trying to establish a pecking order - I don't know.
Now, our family is full of teeanagers - since Patrick joined their ranks. Happy thirteenth birthday. Sorry it's belated.

Yes, Happy Birthday Patrick. Glad you liked the cologne (your mom told me you did!) Angela picked it out, I think Uncle Joey wears it.

Happy Birthday Patrick - sorry this is late. I haven't been keeping up with the Blog like I would like to. Things are still just a little hectic. I can't believe that you are 13 years old. I was just talking about you not too long ago and I had you a couple of years younger (sorry). Are you too old to play pass the pig with me????? I hope not. Hope you had a great birthday and that you celebrated all weekend. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
