I get to be the first to leave a Happy Birthday comment. That is, after Robbie, of course. So, happy birthday, Laura. May you have good health, happiness, and fulfillment all the days of your life, and may there be many more.
I saw you before you were born, Laura. Sue and I came home for Uncle Pat's wedding on May 10th. Sue was not quite four weeks old and turned out to be a good traveler. We stayed a week or so and then headed out. A few weeks later, there you were. Robbie stayed home with his grandma and when I went to pick him up, I said to Uncle Sam, "I hope Grandma Streetley (his great-grandmother who lived with his mother) doesn't say, "Oh Look. He doesn't know his mama. Poor little boy. His Mama went off and left him." Guess what? That's exactly what she did say and isn't she lucky she didn't get a black eye out of it?
But I digress. Happy Birthday to you. And many more.
Happy happy!!! Olive Burgers again sometime soon? Olive burgers are very yummy... its just sliced green olives mixed with mayo and put on top of a hamburger, served on a wheat or rye bun.
Thanks for the birthday greetings. I had a very relaxed day. Paul and the boys got me a new bicycle which I was hoping to hop on this morning but it's a little cool and it looks like rain soon. It is supposed to clear up later today so perhaps...
Joan, Paul and I went to dinner and then to Dudley Riggs last night and saw "See Dick Shoot (and Other Signs of the Apocalypse)". Good show.
Brian had his ACT test yesterday morning then went to a friend's graduation party. Danny went to a Yu-Gi-Oh tournament. He loves it and I don't pretend to understand it.
Mike's daughter Ashley graduated from high school this week. His son Brandon had his 15th birthday on Friday and his daughter Taylor turns 10 on Tuesday so I've pretty much given up my birthday for the kids.

You left out a "great", Mom. Grandma Streetly was my great great grandmother. She must have been a piece of work.
