We went walking in the woods today. Poor Shelby has a huge blister on her heel from wearing boots that were too small for her. She didn't complain at all. David said he'd probably hear about it all the way home.
We had a good time at David's house last night. He is the barbecue king. Then, it was fireworks in downtown Slidell. They were as colorful and loud as ever. Pretty display, nice evening.

Julia is going to Shelby's tonight. They are both going to Mom's tomorrow. I hope the Doots figure into the equation as they have the past two times Julia and Shelby went over to Mom's for the day. Then, Tuesday night, they will both be dropped off with me and Shelby will be with us until early evening when David picks her up. Maybe we could get some bigger boots for a longer walk. I just love walking in the woods.
