Took this Tuesday night. They were on the railing directly opposite our back door but mosied down a few feet when I came out with the camera. The third one from the left is the mother. The babies stick to her like glue. They are waiting for Patsy to come and throw them some morsels. On those nights when Patsy doesn't get out there soon enough, they come wait for her. They've also been known to peak in the pack door with those little faces.
Wonderful picture. What do the cats think when they peek in the window? I don't think we will have to leave home for Chris. I watched Carl last night and he seemed pretty confident it wouldn't head this way. It could change directions, but I'm thinking it will not. Incidentally, I sort of agree with one of your commenters a day or two ago when she said she thought Castro was already dead. I can imagine some scrambling going on behind the scene to get everything lined up before they make the announcement. Of course, she based that assertion on the fact that there was no assembly of doctors on the steps of the Hospital, as happens in every other country, to discuss the surgery and the recovery possibilities. Makes sense, doesn't it?
