Luke

This was taken at Elizabeth's last week on Luke's 4 week birthday. Angela, Samuel and Luke stayed until Julia and I could get over there for a visit. Luke was very alert.

Speaking of visitors, I will have Joe Soule today after he gets off school. He is going to spend the night. Just because. Wednesday will be Polina's turn to spend the night. Joe is easy. We'll play games - including Life, which I introduced him to. Polina will be another story. She is a Curious Georgette. That's when Julia Mattia earns her keep.

Janine, you always get the prettiest pictures of my little Luke. He looks so sweet there. You are such a good aunt to host those liitle people and play games with them!

Yes, that is an adorable picture. He has changed a lot since I saw him two weeks ago. And you are certainly a good auntie to Joe and Polina.

I think Luke is making the same face that Aaron is in the previous picture. Anyone else notice that?

Julia and I were talking about how we should have Jacob and Jackson next. And how it won't be too long before we'll have your little guys over for a night. I even discussed picking up some outside toys like we used to have from garage sales. It's nice to have little people around - for a spell, that is. I loved when I had my own little people, and I certainly like that I have a measure of independence, plus help around the house, now that they are older. Still, every now and again to be able to play and use my imagination and resourcefulness is nice.

You name the day and they'll be there, with bells on! And I agree, you are a good aunt for hosting them and playing games with your nieces & nephews.

What an absolutely gorgeous picture. Luke looks so alert and BIG!

Christina, when is their next available Friday or Saturday off from sports? Let's pencil in a date.

Janice, yes, Luke is a perfectly plump baby. Angela says he has colicky moments now, but I have never witnessed that. She has done great with getting him on a schedule instead of the other way around - like my people did. They're finally on a schedule now, though we are still flexible with that.

I wouldn't be able to take on any of the little people without Julia. She entertains and helps like the pro that she is.
