Don't remember the Chicken Sauterne. Remember the baptism, though. Mrs F? Is that how you always referred to Grandma?

Chicken sauterne sounds good. What time should I come over?

1948-still deathly ill----from what??? and who?

Well, that might just have been the drama of a 13-year old since I hardly ever was sick. I know for a fact I never had a life-threatening ailment. And still, to this day, I am almost never sick. Knock on wood and don't remind me that my knees are less than perfect.

I was only 1 1/2 when Mrs. F. (for ferocious) took me for a haircut.

That was an expensive refrigerator/freezer you bought.
