Go, Saints Go!

Daddy would be so excited that his beloved Saints are in the playoffs again. Everyone in the city has Saints fever. Joey and I would love to go to the game, but we have no tickets and are unwilling to pay what they want for the few that are still available. We know a few people who bought season tickets this year for the first time, and we are envious of their good fortune. We're going to get a babysitter and go out to eat and try to savor some of the Saints fever either downtown or at a friend's house. I keep asking Robbie if he wished he had season tickets this year. He held season tickets for a lot of years. What say you Robbie, about all the hype? Being a sterotypical girl, I must say that I hate their new uniforms. I prefer the gold pants and black jerseys.

I'd love to be there but I'll be OK in front of my HDTV with a 10-second walk to the bathrooms and concession stands at CrabAppleLane and a little (OK, a lot) less in debt. The tickets I would have had by now would be extremely expensive but also very valuable this season. Probably around the 30-yard line at the club level. I gave them up because it was getting to be an ordeal to go to the games, lose a whole Sunday, and finding someone to go with even when I was GIVING them the ticket. I'm happy for those who stuck it out and happy for the johnny-come-lately's (Particularly the two in this lovely picture), too. Go Saints Go.

Those blue eyes are going to melt every girl's heart.

What a cute picture. They look so adorable. Luke has the sweetest expression.

Even I have the fever a little bit, hating competitive sports and all. When Walton and Johnson played, "Who Dat?" yesterday, I had to crank it up in my car and rock out.

Now, they just have to win the playoff game and go to the Superbowl. Geaux, Saints!!!
