Most places got well over a foot of snow. Schools and businesses were shut down including the Mall of America and the University of Minnesota.
The last time Mpls. and St. Paul schools shut down was the winter of '94 - and that was because of the cold!

In Mpls we got around 18 inches of snow.

Ahhhh. Fond memories. Everything looks so pretty, and I am so glad it's there and not here. Enjoy it now because it will be gone before you know it and those three weeks of summer will be upon you.
Not for me!! NO WAY!! I hate cold weather.
