I don't know which is prettier, the girls or the flowers. Upon reflection, I think it's the girls. No surprise there. I'm surprised there were no comments on these superb photos. Your camera is so clear in what it sees.

I know I looked better than that that day. My camera distorted me in the same way.

Katie's spread was fabulous. The goat cheese and Shrimp casserole, which mostly I liked, and the potato casserole were to die for. The Ambrosia salad was delicious. Mimosas were an excellent way to wash it all down. I don't appreciate the bath I took while rinsing dishes, though. Geez, I was soaked. Picking blackberries with the little girls out back was the highlight. I have more pictures I'll send to you, Robbie.

Janine -- I feel the same way about my picture in the grouping above this one. I saw Don Rickles on Letterman last night, and decided that's who I have become. Woe is me.

Mother, you do not look like Don Rickles. My sisters will never know what it feels like to see what's coming down the pike with them appearance-wise. Remember what you used to nudge me to say in response to people who told me I looked like you? "Say thank you to the nice lady/gentleman."

So what, eh? It definitely could be worse. We could be bald like Don Rickles.
