We just got back from Ft. Walton, FL. Joey and I were there for a week at the Destin West resort. We had his family with us for the beginning of the week and my sister and Janine and children came on Thursday. We had a wonderful time at the resort. There was a great pool on the beach side and this resort also had a lazy river and pool on the bay side. We bounced from pool to pool and beach every day. The weather was sunny most days but cool. Too cool for me to get in the water, which was fine because we had red flags every day that we were there. The water was pretty rough. Joey got chased out of the water by the lifeguard yesterday. The guy told him that he wasn't really worried about him, but when kids see adults swimming they think they can too and they didn't want any kids in the water. Samuel absolutely loves the sand. He didn't care if he had it all over him. He would roll around in it! Luke did well too. He mostly stayed under the tent and played on the blanket. It was a great trip and we're sorry it's over. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Nice pics, Angela. Who's that with Aaron?
I just re-sent you pictures, Robbie. Don't publish the duplicate one I sent of all of us on the beach (of course.) I wrote that entry and sent it to you last night, to the wrong address, so it reads like I just got back too.
Aaron brought his girlfriend, Ischelle. (pron.- eye-shell, sort of). I kept her with us until the last possible minute yesterday and then drove her to Bush. They are two peas in a pod and have known each other since last summer. I am not liking it all that much that my 14 year old was acting like a married man, tending to her very sweetly as she was sick a couple of times because of an anti-biotic, and then the rash thing that he iced for her, but it seems very innocently like they are best buddies than anything else. She is very sweet. I like her parents too. The father is very talented with wood. He can make anything. Their house has all kinds of beautiful woodwork in it, all crafted by him. Last night, he showed me a guitar he just finished making. It was so pretty. Ischelle picked it up and started playing it. The family are all gifted musicians, and often have extended family over to pick and play with. Ischelle is gifted and talented in art. She goes to Covington High. Aaron will be at Fountainebleu. After they disappeared the first night, walking down the beach, I joked to Angela and Joey that we were just going to go over to the justice of the peace and get it over with. I was JUST joking. (laughing on the outside, but not on the inside)
These are wonderful pictures. Everyone looks so happy. I'm glad you had such good weather and that Barry didn't threaten you. He must account for the rough water though, so shame on him.
