Stephen and Kellie had us all over tonight for dinner - a delayed 4th of July celebration since they went to Kellie's family's house for the 4th. Stephen was taking a picture of the group and being corny as usual to get us ready for the picture. He said, "Say Kellie is a goober", "Say Kellie is pregnant." No one believed him initially because he always picks on her and says dumb things. Then I screamed, "Is she really pregnant?!" Then we all hugged and cried and we are all elated. The baby is due February 6. Please join us in wishing them well and praying for a healthy baby.

Did you know the maternal great grandmother names the first great grandchild of the maternal grandmother? Yes. It's true. It is the law. I'll be sending a short list soon of the names I'm considering. Here's a clue: If it's triplet girls, it will be Mabel, Myrtle, and Mildred. If it's triplet boys, it will be Henry, Clarence, and Oscar. I won't divulge my single baby names just yet. I can't wait!

What fun news! Babies are such fun! Just think, Sue, you won't have to travel very far for the "new baby smell" you like so much! On the down side, I'm not liking the title of "Great-Aunt". Congratulations!

Thank you all for your sweet comments and congratulations. It is great to finally be able to get the news out to everyone. It has been so hard to keep quiet all this time. We waited this long so that we would be able to get the sonogram picture for the frames. Also, who knew that a doctor will not see you until you are 9 weeks??? I thought I would be able to come in right away, but no!
Grandma, all we can say is, we're glad it's not triplets. However, I am glad that you clarified who gets to name the baby because it seems that we have a lot of people feeling that the duty lies with them. So...be working on those single baby names.
Janine, we are actually going to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex. We think the surprise will be fun. Hopefully we will both be able to hold out. I am not known for my patience when it comes to gaining new information.
